We are dedicated to making quality tutoring affordable for students everywhere, so we offer a range of price points starting at $20 per session. Tutor rates are based on a variety of factors, including the tutor's educational background, years of teaching/tutoring experience, location, teaching licensure status, and specialist certifications. Yes. We have tutors who are experienced classroom teachers with extensive curriculum development expertise who can individualized learning to your child's learning needs, interests, and schedule. With the permission and support of your child's school administration and teacher, in-school tutoring can be a great option for students who would benefit from individualized 1:1 online tutoring in school. How do I know which tutor is best for my child?

How do I book a session?

Accepted Answer

You can book  sessions online through the "Book Online" page, where you select the Tutoring category. Once you have chosen your preferred tutor within that category, you can click "Book Now" under their session description, then select the date and time of the first session.

That will take you to a brief form to fill out, with a link to the Terms & Conditions, and then to the payment page. We accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

You can either book a single session or a 10-session package, which must be used within 3 months. This allows you to lock in your preferred days/times before someone else books them. You can buy multiple 10-session packages at a time if you plan to schedule multiple sessions per week. You can change the date/time as needed, but not within 12 hours of the scheduled session.

Question 8

How long is a tutoring session?

Tutoring sessions are scheduled for 55 minutes by default. They can start on the hour or half hour. In our experience, this is a good amount of time for most students, regardless of age. For younger students or students with ADHD, this gives time for short breaks between activities to maximize learning. At the end of the lesson, you will receive a summary report from your tutor documenting what was covered in the lesson and what will be covered next lesson.

Do you offer in-person tutoring?

Our tutors are based in countries around the world, and if we happen to have a tutor available near you, in person tutoring may be possible. Please contact us to ask about this option.

Question 10

Why can't I book a session for tomorrow?

Out of respect for our tutors, sessions cannot be booked within 48 hours of start time, by default. This gives tutors time to arrange their schedules and fully prepare for lessons.
