Over the years, my teaching experience spans subjects such as AP Statistics, Calculus, and guiding students to balance academic excellence with emotional well-being. My teaching philosophy is simple: I meet each learner where they are—with patience, curiosity, and compassion—helping them build confidence, clarity, and joy in the learning process.

Originally from South India, I have had the privilege of living and learning across diverse cultures. I speak English, Tamil, and a bit of Hindi, and I enjoy reading, creative writing, and nature walks in my free time.

Hi, I'm Chris

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. I've been tutoring Math and Physics for over six years, and I have a strong passion for helping students succeed. After completing my engineering degree, I chose to pursue tutoring because I enjoy helping students gain academic confidence. I've had the opportunity to work with learners from different backgrounds, helping them not just understand concepts, but also believe in their ability to solve problems independently. My goal is not only to help students arrive at answers, but also to help them gain confidence in order to be able to solve problems independently and apply them to the real world.

My teaching approach is fully student-focused. I believe that every student is capable of learning when given the right environment. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, which is why I believe interactive sessions are the most effective. I especially enjoy guiding students to that aha! moment when a difficult math concept finally clicks. In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing photography, and working out at the gym.
