By fostering meaningful relationships between tutors and students, we aim to create an enriching environment that nurtures growth and confidence in academic learning. We offer support in many subject areas and foundational skills including reading, math, ADHD support, English language learning, homework help, and more. Hi, I’m Jennipher, the founder, manager, and lead tutor of Synapse Tutors. I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of students globally, in unique public, private, and international schools in the United States, Singapore, and Indonesia. Witnessing the transformative power of individualized learning has inspired me to connect compassionate and dedicated tutors with students who need extra support. I partner with experienced educators who have the expertise to help students build competence and confidence in essential academic skills and more. By providing training and ongoing mentorship and feedback to our tutors, I ensure that our students receive the best possible learning experience to meet their evolving needs.
Living and working in schools around the world has also given me the gift of meeting incredibly talented, inspiring teachers of all backgrounds. For many years, my dream had been to start a school and invite talented colleagues to join me. When my teaching practice shifted from in person to online tutoring during the pandemic, though, I began to realize the potential of highly individualized, focused teaching through online learning. Because my students are in different countries across the globe, however, I found myself having to set ridiculously early morning and late night hours to meet their limited afterschool schedules. That’s when it occurred to me that I could partner with teachers who I know and trust in countries around the world to tutor during their afterschool hours, wherever in the world they happen to be located. My hope is to make high quality learning affordable and accessible to students in any time zone, unlimited by geography.
