Service Description

With over seven years of experience in education, Mr. O'Hara has had the privilege of working with students across a wide range of grade levels, academic abilities, and learning styles. His background includes teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and tutoring middle school students. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences Secondary Education and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Education. He holds teaching certifications in the states of Virginia, Alabama, and Tennessee. These experiences have helped him develop a strong understanding of how to support and challenge learners at every stage of their academic journey. ​He is passionate about providing personalized instruction that meets each student’s unique needs and helps them reach their highest academic potential. Whether working with students who need extra support, enrichment, or confidence-building, he strives to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where all students can succeed. He is excited to partner with Synapse Tutors for the opportunity to help students achieve their educational goals. He is available for online tutoring as well as in-person for select students in Chattanooga, TN and the surrounding areas of North Georgia, North Alabama, and East Tennessee.
